I have been a teacher and educator since 1983 and currently working as a senior fellow with Disha India education Foundation at Gurgaon. I (b.: 1946) did my postgraguation from Kuruksherta University and Ph.D. from Panjab University. I have worked with Mayo College, MNSS, Rai, KVS, Lok Jumbish, Bodh, KFI, UNICEF, UNESCO and CULP earlier.

Relaxation in a room alone with soft and soothing music or 'thermotherapy'is as effective in stress busting and depression as as massage, informs a new US study published in the journal Depression and Anxiety.   The study invesgator mentions that massage therapy is among the most popular complementary and alternative medical (CAM) treatments for anxiety. The comparison groups in the experimental study lasting 12 weeks were used to get the results.   The Bill for  33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Assemblies got passed by the Rajya Sabha with suspension of seven members who behaved badly during proceedings. The Women's Reservation Bill was passed by a two-third majority, a day after it was moved in the House for consideration . 186 votes were in favour of the bill and only one was against. The Bill could get through with  support from the BJP and the Left in the Upper House where the ruling UPA coalition is in minority.
