Yes! You got that right. The cosmetic that you use might be a left over of some human fat or to put it in sensitive terms, the cream could be the result of a gruesome slaughtering. In Peru very recently, the police have arrested some people on charges that are shocking. It has been reported in Peru too many times for the people there not to know. However for the rest of the world, it could be a first time shocker. The story goes like this: A group of people targets the poor, tempts them towards lucrative job offers and ends up killing them. Then the fat and tissue from the body is extracted. First the corpse is made to hang upside down, followed by subjecting them to extreme heat. Over a period of time, the fat melts resulting in a liquidized form of fat. This fluid costs as much as 15000 $ (Rs 65 lacs approx) per litre. Now this liquid is sold to European markets which become a key ingredient of cosmetics from eminent European cosmetic brands. The gradual process of liquidizing the tissue and human fat is carried out in a secret laboratory. Anti-ageing creams are benefited with the use of human fat and that is not unknown, but the processes were under strict legal enforcements. The growing obesity problem eases the problem for brands, since the patients who undergo liposuction give out lots of fat that can be actually utilized by these cosmetic brands. But, when people resort to crimes for the sake of money(since the killers get lacs of money by selling the fat, and the fat can assure better products which in turn ensures more sell of creams thereby profiting businessmen), it is shocking. Murder for the sake of beautifying someone is a novel thing! Ugly killings vis-à-vis cosmetics beautifying ladies, sheer contrast! No wonder human race is on the verge of demolition!
