It is unfortunate abt Lohithadas.  He was a good writer and film maker.  But there are good doctors and hospitals in Kerala, but poor on the service side I guess.

Last week died another noted film personality Rajan P. Dev (58) died. Another premature end from complications related to alcohol.

Today Famous Actor Murali died at the age of 54. 

Men in Kerala do not see beyond 60. 
The State revenue has to come from alcohol business.

Hey, this is news to me.  Didnt know Murali has also died.  Both were very good actors.  I dont believe alcohol was the reason even if they were heavy drinkers.  Stress could be the prime reason for the deaths of these actors... All of my uncles are 60 and 70+ and regular, if not heavy drinkers :D
 

Another noted, versatile film personality “Kochin Hanifa”died today from lever related complications. It was hard to believe this news over TV. 
Another big loss to Malayalam film world in recent times. 
They say, Hanifa was not into alcohol.

Thats very sad.. He was a good comedian.  Liver related complications do not necessarily have to do with alcohol..

Girish Puthancheri died today at the age of 49 years. Brain hemorrhage.
He was one of the best lyrists in recent Malayalam movies. Yet another big loss to Malayalam film industry and to Malayalam litature. 

Dont know this one.. but 49 is way too early an age to die.. 

Rated on par with legendary lyricists P Baskaran and O N V Kurup, Puthenchery has won the state award seven times and popular Asianet award three times for his lyrics in about 400 films in a over two decade career.

Puthenchery started his career in 1990 with the film “Enquiry and became a household name for Keralites for his songs in blockbuster movies like ‘Ravana Prabhu’, ‘Nandanam’, ‘Vadakkum Nathan’ and ‘Ore Kadal’.

Lyrics in 400 films !!  Astounding for a 20 yr career..  Have seen Ravana Prabhu with Vasundhara das & Mohanlal :-)
