In the Elections to the Lok Sabha in 2009, I did not vote for anybody because no one was going to do what I want them to do.  My wish list is as follows:

1. Scrap Article 370 of the Constitution giving a separate status to J&K.  Make J&K like any other state of India;

2. Deport all illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and other countries and send them back to countries of their origin.

3. Evolve a Uniform Civil Code for all Indians irrespective of their religion.

4. Check tax evasion, corruption and smuggling etc. through Income Tax raids, Excise Tax raids and Customs Tax raids etc.

5. Create infrastructure for the rural people like roads, transport system etc.

Since I knew perfectly well that no body would be able to implement what I want to be done, I did not vote for anybody.  However, there was an illiterate person whom I asked as to who he would vote for.  He replied, "I will vote for any bloody B......  All these bloody B.... are chips of the same coin. All of them are ought to loot us and fill their pockets."

Now, I understood that Indian Elections are a great political drama.  The illiterate person also knew it in his heart of hearts that it is indeed a great political drama.  Therefore, I did not cast my vote but he did cast his vote.  Now I ask you, "Who was right and who was wrong."
